Human Resource Management

Full glass

In their striving to find the ideal candidate, employer companies often forget one simple truth: a person can be motivated by development, growth, achievement, recognition and responsibility — and not by having to do only what he already knows how to do and where his skills are already developed.

What interest could a new job hold for the “ideal” candidate? A higher salary? Eventually, that will become boring. They will start looking for a new job where they can continue to grow. A higher position? They will get bored again, and see the point above. How? If a person is not given the opportunity to grow from the start, then even if you find the ideal candidate, you won’t be able to keep them. No way.

I have already written about the other problems of the “perfect” candidate. here.
